What is the “transmission that occurs from one mind to another mind?” How does the transmission of one mind to another occur?
Venerable Master Hua’s answer:
The transmission of Dharmas occurs often. The amount that you receive is yours. No one sees this transmission and no one knows who has received how much.
My idea is that the six principles are the core principle of the Venerable Master Hua’s . cultivation. He understands the problem of the materialistic world. Everyone enjoys the a life filled with material objects and becomes captivated and attached to them.
It is hard to cultivate and become enlightened, so the Venerable Master Hua transmitted the six principles to us. If one can truly practice these principles, one could be pure and gain enlightenment. One would be detached from our desires. This is the mind to mind transmission Dharma.
