What is the point of bowing to your parents? How do you explain to the Westerners?
Honor to your parents in Bible but not bowing to them? Respectful to good parents are reasonable but how about for parents who were divorced or taking drugs? The story of Great Master Chang Ren who bought opium for his father and moved him is the best reality of leaving beings suffering to bliss.
